Petr is responsible for managing the acquisition process, directing acquisition projects, and conducting business and financial due diligence.
POST ACQUISITION ROLE
For portfolio companies, Petr oversees operations with a focus on the business side, including analyzing new markets, competition, and products, as well as financial processes, including reporting.
INDUSTRY FOCUS
Petr's expertise spans aerospace and defense industries, engineering, automotive industry, and low-emission technologies.
EXPERIENCE
Petr has 15 years of experience in managing acquisition projects. He served as the Chief Strategy Officer at Aero Vodochody for 7 years, responsible for strategy and management of key financial projects, including mergers and acquisitions. Petr contributed to the development and subsequent industrialization of the KC-390 project and was a board member of Clarex, a company specializing in engine maintenance.
From 2011 to 2014, Petr was the Executive Director of the Confederation of the Czech Aviation Industry.
Currently, Petr holds the position of Managing Director at companies VYVA, Kosyka, ROKA Industry, BMH, and KBNK.
EDUCATION
Petr earned his degree in Economics from Charles University and a Master's degree in Management and Strategy from USBE, Sweden.
AERO VODOCHODY
Successful business development of the company via targeting orders from renowned Tier 1 OEM producers. Together with the operational restructuring, the strategy led to the restart of a traditional yet previously loss-making producer.
In figures, the strategy resulted in doubling the revenue and in a 20% increase in efficiency.
